As the old saying goes, “Many a little makes a mickle”. HDSCEnglish Corner focuses on improving staff’s abilities of English in order tomeet the demand of the international market.
The latest English Corner was held on December 18, 2015. Thistime they reviewed some simples words by learning 24 solar terms. The 24 solarterms were made by simple words and it is a good way to help them to rememberwords. As we all know, the Christmas is approaching. Then they learnt someChristmas symbols and traditions together such as preparation of the Christmascake, sending gifts to loved ones, decorating the Christmas tree, lighting upthe Christmas candle, making of Cribs, singing Christmas carols and soon. By learning the things mentioned above not only helps them remember newsword, but also motivate their interests on learning English.
HDSC is always on his way to study in order to provide betterservice to the overseas customers. International trade has witnessed greatimprovement in HDSC and it is a high time for HDSC staff to have a good masterof English. “Many a little makes a mickle” is a tradition of HDSC EnglishCorner. Every one of HDSC is sparing no efforts in learning English well andthey do believe that they will make a difference in the international market.
